dynasty Episode 105 - Circumstantial Evidence
Krystle rejects Daniel's overture. She is very much in love with Blake. For some reason, that photographer knew exactly where Krystle would be thrown from her horse and where she would land after rolling down the hill because the photographer gets a picture of the kiss. At the same time, another photographer is taking pictures of Blake dancing with Lady Ashley in Acapulco. Clearly, the two photographers are in cahoots, and working for someone, as Blake is sent pics of Krystle and Daniel and Krystle is sent pics of Blake and Lady Ashley.
Blake can't find better company?
Even though Jeff does not love Nicole, he continues the charade of being married to her, and Nicole is trying her hardest to get Jeff to love her. I am trying my hardest to hope for the end of this all. Nicole does make a good point about why Jeff is pining for a dead woman who pretty much treated him like garbage and slept with half of Denver. Jeff is just a glutton for punishment, as this marriage evidences.
Jeff does not like badmouthing of Fallon
Even though Claudia and Steven are on the road to divorce, Claudia still wants to see Danny and Steven is cool with it. Steven wants Claudia to give him another chance but Claudia pretty much accepts that Steven is gay, why can't Steven do the same. Good question?
Checking out gay folks going to lunch
Later, Claudia has a breakdown (of her car, not her mental faculties) and calls Adam to help her. The two see Luke and Steven enter a restaurant together. Claudia is angered because Luke promised her not to see Steven. Little does Claudia know that the lunch is nothing more than another farewell for the two. This time, Luke realizes he must leave Colby Co. but Steven does offer to help. Funny, this is what is called sexual harassment. Anyway, Steven keeps trying to convince himself that he loves Claudia and that he wants a family and he will fall in love with another woman if he has to. Luke pretty much tells Steven good luck with that.
Another goodbye???
Meanwhile, Claudia shares her misery with Adam at La Mirage. Adam has his own misery as Jeff pulls rank at Denver Carrington. We know where this misery is going to lead - the bedroom. Claudia gives into Adam's advances. It's a shame Claudia moved most of her stuff into La Mirage because she could have just moved it down the hall at the mansion.
I will let you know I am engaged after all of this.
Prince Michael continues to pursue Amanda in Acapulco but Amanda shows little interest. Amanda just is not attracted to an autocratic prince. I can't blame her on that. Alexis decides to push the two together. Dex wonders why Alexis is trying so hard and Alexis counters that Dex should not care so much unless he has a thing for Amanda. Heck, Alexis throws out the D-word, divorce. Dex will take out his aggression the best way he knows, by assisting Daniel in his military expedition in Paraguay.
Alexis is not in the mood for Dex's sexual advances.
Amanda finally succumbs to Michael's charms and the two make love. Oh, Prince Michael forgot to tell Amanda something, he is already engaged. Seriously, what did Amanda think, this is royalty here - all marriages are pretty much arranged. Amanda will not give Prince Michael the satisfaction of showing that she is hurt. That may be because she is not. And, that is a pretty scuzzy thing for Michael to do even if does love Amanda.
Fine, Dex will find another hobby
Dex, of all people, is able to get all of the oil leases for Alexis. Even that gesture is not enough to assuage Alexis of her belief that Dex is a little too fond of Amanda. Dex does not care - Alexis can do with the leases, as she wishes. And, what she wishes is to work in partnership with Blake and Denver Carrington. Blake agrees. Blake wonders why Alexis would share the leases with him since she could have had them all. Alexis claims because they have a family together and maybe she is tired of fighting. Hmmm. . . when Alexis does something nice, that means she has done something bad and does not want to be the first suspect.
Ah, man she is going to come to Denver
[Here is an interesting thing about the leases. If the Chinese Government is the one responsible for giving them out, why would they be patrolling the region if they believed that the Denver Carrington purchase was a front for arms dealing. Wouldn't the arms be dealt to the Chinese???? Let's just deal with Natumbe, it is a lot easier.]
Blake really should be so annoyed
Could Alexis be behind the pictures being sent to Krystle and Blake. Alexis knows that Lady Ashley is very much interested in Blake (the sparring between Alexis and Lady Ashley is comical because of Ali Mac Graw's bad acting). Regardless, Lady Ashley sees that Blake has received pictures of Krystle and Daniel together. When Blake returns to Denver, he confronts Krystle about the picture. Krystle says Daniel did it and she has no interest in him. Blake wants to know for certain whether that is true. Just wait until Krystle mentions the pictures of you Blake.

Blake: You know, this is the first time a lady has ever asked me to dance.
Lady Ashley: Pretty aggressive, aren't I?
Lady Ashley: I'm just leaving
Alexis: You don't have to go on my account.
Lady Ashley: Only on your account, Alexis.
Steven: In order to be at peace with myself is a life with a family, straight. That other lifestyle could never really satisfy me.
Luke: The gay lifestyle, Steven. You don't have to whisper it. They don't stone us in the village square anymore. It's not that bad.
